I believe Bodek still makes strawberries in syrup, it just comes in different packaging now Smile

Maybe it's another company then? I've definately seen it.

In any case, what's the recipe? All you have to do is make a simple syrup for your strawberries.

1 cup sugar
1 cup water

In a medium saucepan combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.

You might not need so much syrup on your recipe (depending on what the recipe is). If you put sugar on regular frozen strawberries, there will be some liquid after it sits & that will be like the yellow container (company was Fairmont. Bodek's container with sugar is white/red)
