Anyone have any ideas about what to use to hold my wig hair in place when pinning it back? Different to hair, I find that bobby pins don't hold up well as there's nothing to anchor them. I've tried kippa clips too (even though they look awful) but the hair slips out of that too after a few minutes. Is there something I can use that would go through the wig cap into my hair? I feel like that would be a good anchor. Any ideas appreciated.

I've used the longer bobby pins and stuck it thru the wig cap a bit (though I realized after its prob. terrible for the wig cap..so my advice is not of much use I guess..but I'd love to hear if s/o else has an idea
btw I'm assuming u mean to style the shaitel- pin back some..

I read a tip in a magazine for regular hair - maybe this would work for shaitels too.

They said spray the area that you want to pin with a little hair spray and then quickly put in the bobby pin. The hair spray will make it stick...

Finger tip size claw clips.

Without them I'd never be able to see.

I also found bobby pins hard to use. I've been using a small barrette, kind of like this: http://www.amazon.com/France-L.....mp;sr=1-13

I also use the larger bobby pins, two on each side. I found the smaller (regular sized) ones or just one wouldn't hold the hair.

I use hair combs - both metal and plastic. They work well and no need to puncture the wig cap. Also, they look better than bobby pins.

here's what I do with the bobby pins: try putting in 2, kind of like an x shape with the second one holding the first one in place. If you get the right color bobby pin for your hair color it will barely show.
Also, is this for use on the side, or back? If pinning up in the back use 4-6 bobby pins, 2-3 coming from either side.
