for Shabbos lunch.

We have allergies and a vegetarian. I plan on making a veggie soup in the crockpot and have one fleishig main course, all the sides are parve but I want a nice vegetarian main course that isn't liquidy so it can be warm.

Eggs are fine but preferably avoiding mushrooms.

I think I want something bean or lentil based but I can`t find anything that sounds good and shabbosdig.

You can do stuffed peppers.

I didn't realize you were okay with legumes. If you want beans or lentils, you can do "meat"loaf. You can drizzle a nice sauce over the slices.

Or how about lentil burgers, sandwiched between 2 slices of breaded and fried eggplant? Can look really pretty. Especially if you stick a rosemary spring, standing up in the center of each one.

Only some legumes. No chickpeas or peas. I think the rest are ok. One person with a peanut allergy that is the tree nut kind and the other is a peanut allergy that is the legume kind. I think I will try the lentil burgers.
Thanks.

Can you find vegetarian fake meat that's made of textured vegetarian protein (Soya or wheat)? They make nice stir-fry which you can heat up. If eggs are ok, you can also do quiche (with crust or crustless), I make mine with sauteed courgettes/zucchinis or carrots.
