While I never made the sounds distinct letters/words in my mind, I find it's easy to pick up on the different kinds of cries and some of this was obvious to me...certain cries are easy for me to figure out what they mean. _________________ http://a-natural-birth.com

I watched her DVDs a few years ago. It's a cool concept. I often found it difficult to differentiate between the different "words" while observing my baby. Sometimes they make more than one "word" at a time. Also, I think my baby at the time was already at least couple months old when I watched the DVDs. I think babies make more different types of sounds as they get older _________________ Binah
