Any one has any experience with temporary walls. Our landlord does not want us to put in anything permanent or anything that might damage the permanent walls. I am looking for something that would be pretty enough to be a dining room wall on one side and stable enough to be a part of the kids room on the other side.

Check out this company, I think this is who we would have used if our apartment had required it:

We had a pressurized wall and it was great! I'm sorry I forget what company--maybe that one, but I really don't remember. There are a few like that. This was in NJ but it was a NY company that came out to do it-- we were renting a townhouse with a huge master bedroom, and we put a wall across it to make a baby's room. There was even a sloped ceiling, and they fit it. It looked just like all the permanent walls, with a normal door. Then when we left (to make aliyah--yay!) they took it out and it left no damage.

Thank you all for the replies. From what I understand from their website, you have to pay for the wall per year. I was hoping for a wall that you pay once and that is it. Any experience with those?
