Soap makes a film. That means: it sticks together like a cloth fabric. When a little air gets into some soap, it pushes the soap film outward, the same amount in all directions, making a sphere.

As the soap film has very little weight, the bubble is almost as light as air.

When the bubble floats around, it can encounter air which is warmer. This warmth makes the air inside the bubble expand.

This expanding size stretches the soap film. The bubble breaks open because the strength of the soap film is not enough to stay a film when stretched that much.
