I was once crossing the street with my daughter and the car behind us decided that he didn't feel like waiting anymore and tried to go around the bus and nearly hit us. I don't know the details yet but parents walk your kids into the road, I've seen too many drivers ignore stopped buses (and I once even absentmindedly passed one myself by accident).
