| My husband and I are being honored at a yeshiva dinner in a few weeks. I am petite, size 6, totally clueless when it comes to fashion. And I dress VERY tznius, and quite maturely. Any ideas? Can I get away with wearing a fancy jacket and black skirt? Do I need a dress? Suit? Any ideas or links will be appreciated. TIA

I think the suit idea is very modest ,just accesorize it nicely.

As an honoree (mazel tov), stick with the style of clothing that you're comfortable with, but bump it up a level. So if you're comfortable with a jacket and skirt, make sure its a more luxe fabric, perhaps with adornments, and accessorize. Eg, if you can get past the silly hat, and ugly accessories:
