Should I order the exact size or one size up in kids boots?

anyone know?

they have a promotion now, by the way. 40 bucks off 100.

For young kids, I'd go with their true size.
My 5 year old can't walk properly, especially in snow, in shoes one size up. That's why I buy inexpensive boots. Glad you found a sale at Lands End!

by the way, you think Big kids would go a size up? or always true-to-size for everyone?

If your kids generally grow out of their shoes quickly, you can go up to 1/2 a size bigger. But if they only have whole sizes, I wouldn't do it.

if you are going to have them wear thick socks in the cold, does that make the size number go up?

buy both and return one. thats what I usually do. except one time I didnt and I was so disappointed when the shoes didnt fit and I had to wait an extra week for the new ones to come Sad
