We have a wooden sukkah this year - any tips how to hang decorations? I am afraid if we tape the posters to the wall, they will just fall down if it rains.

In my family, everyone has wooden sukkas only.

We always used a staple gun and heavy duty staples to hang everything.

Works great, but you need to remove the staples afterwards, which can be a bit annoying.

I use tacks that you would use on a corkboard not sure what they are called

Thumbtacks (pushpins). That's what we used as kids.

Thanks everyone - feeling silly that we didn't think of thumbtacks and feeling really grateful that you did!

Smile We staple gun the decorations up and leave them on the boards from year to year. Once the sukkah is up it is decorated as well. We just have to find spaces for the new decorations.

This year the kids had some decorations made out of wood which were too thick to staple gun up so we used hot glue. There are stuck really well, so I have no worries that they will fall off prematurely. Smile
