Need milk based materna stage 1 in Monsey

Does anyone have one canister of milk based materna stage 1? I'd buy it off you, or 'borrow' it and pay back in about a week when I am getting more from Israel. I'm a little desperate.

I think kahans supermarket in crown heights sells materna. I was just in there and I saw a sign advertising it. someone told me they sell it under the counter since it is not fda approved.

I thought they sold Materna at Rockland kosher.

Please educate me: Why is Materna better than the stuff sold in the U.S.?

I dont know if MAterna is better than US formula - but some babies just get used to a certain kind of formula and dont like it if you switch. When I went to Israel and my DS was 7 months old, I brought Enfamil with me, but ran out and had to use materna for the plane home, it was very nerve racking because I was terrably afraid he wouldnt eat it.

my kid went straight from Cholov Yisroel similac to Nutramigen AA. Sorry I can't help you but a week ago there was a formula controversy thread over someone advertising that they sell Materna... maybe you can ask Yael for that advertisers info.
