I want to cook brisket today and then freeze it. But I realized that I also wanted to cook potatoes and carrots with it. I don't like the taste of frozena nd defrosted potatoes. Can I just cook themi n the gravy next week?

I find that cooking potatoes takes a while, and rewarming meat, not so much... I would cook the potatoes first and then add them.
