| depends on type of piece (interview, fiction, short, long) and some columns in all of these publications have set fee.

hard to judge because oftentimes fiction gets less per word but more words

Tova, it's just based on my personal experiences, but the fact is I have not made one red cent trying to get published in these magazines 
The way I see it, if you want to try, fine, just don't do it for the money!
