At what age did you put your baby in a swing? Is three weeks too early to start?

What kind of swing? If you mean the newborn kind, with the seat shaped like a bouncer seat, I don't think it's ever too early. if you already own the swing, check the user guide that came with it.

my baby was in a baby swing from I wud say day 3 or so:) not for long periods of time but when I needed to do something. we had a graco swing that reclines and basically has a similar recline to a car seat.

My babies were also in swings from the day they came home from the hospital. Especially with the newer style swings where the seat is an oval like this one. I have one similar to this and there's no way I would've survived the first 3 months without it!

My baby was in a swing since we bought it at around 2months old. He loves it and it has different positions so now we pushed the seat up a bit.
as long as its almost 100% reclining they can be in it from day 1...swings are amazing things that baby can grow in Smile

The one we have currently is like the link above and we used that from a few days old. With our older kids the one we had was more upright and we didn't use it until they were a little stronger, a couple of months for our eldest, about 4-6 weeks for our 2nd who was unusually strong.

I have the fisher price cradle n swing and I put my baby in it, at about 2 weeks. It reclines and is very comfortable looking. I did not actually turn the swing on until she was a few months, I just let her sit in it and I put the music mobile on.
