2 parts oil
1 part vinegar
fresh garlic minced
a squirt of mustard
mayo

The exact amounts depend on how much dressing you want to make and whether you want it to be very garlicky or very creamy and so on.

Amazing dressing, I like to use it on salad of just romaine lettuce and mushrooms but it is good with other additions too.

I usually just put lemon juice (fresh is best), oil (olive or canola), salt, pepper and garlic powder.

But I like this creamy dressing. It's from a chicken salad recipe from Mishpacha, I didn't save the chicken salad part, but I like it for a lettuce/tomato type of salad:

4 T mayonnaise
5 T oil
1 T lemon juice
1 garlic clove, crushed (or garlic powder)
1 t sugar
1 t mustard
½ t salt
1/8 t black pepper

Place all the ingredients except the oil in a bowl. With a hand blender, blend everything while slowly drizzling the oil until well combined.

if you crush the garlic first, you can put all the ingredients in a container, cover, and shake very well until creamy. no need for blender.

Sounds really good, what salad do you make for this dressing? I wanted to use romaine lettuce, corn, avocado, tomato, maybe pickles, would that work?
