If the recipe is in grams, the temp is probably celsius. 160C = 325F.

There is no standard conversion. It depends on the ingrediet.

For the Rebbetzin's sauce:

-2 large sliced onions
-1/2 cup margarine AKA 1 stick margarine AKA 150g margarine
-3 1/2 cups tomato sauce AKA 28 oz. tomato sauce AKA 800g tomato sauce
-1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar AKA 1 lb. dark brown sugar AKA 450g dark brown sugar

when you freeze and thaw the cabbage, do you thaw them whole or you take the leaves off first?

Freeze them whole. Leaves break easily when fresh and separate very easily after defrosted.
