| I usually wear hane's but they are very expensive and practically disposable. Any other cheap brand that lasts and has a color similiar to hanes "little color"? Thanks.

I used to wear Legg's Sheer Energy, and they were relatively inexpensive and pretty durable. _________________ Chayalle

I wear L'eggs brand, which u can buy at Target, CVS, etc- but if you buy online, its even more affordable
I like the Nude color in the L'eggs brand
I have an olive complexion, and the pantyhose suit my legs perfectly- not too beige-y or white
they also are pretty durable as pantyhose go

| yup- I wear melas "nude"- they last relatively long and are pretty inexpensive. I used to wear hanes but they were so expensive and had runs before you even put them on!

| I wear melas. they're not as sheer as the more expensive brands but from far they're fine and during the week I wear them. If you get melas, buy the honey, not the nude. It is a better shade for most people.

| I like Melas for daily wear but I wish they had better color choices. The nude is too light for me.

I also like Hanes. Slightly-irregulars are available at a deep discount from the Hanes website and One Hanes Place (.com). Over twenty years, I have only been able to discern the defect once.
Also, store-brand pantyhose at Pathmark is surprisingly high-quality.

I love the Melas. Honey is a really nice shade.
I believe they are under $4. _________________ Really Awesome Mom!

Did you know that you can return anything to Hanes, no matter how old, worn or runned they are?
You have to order online though. Save the receipt and envelope it comes in (or get a new one, no diff) and when you're ready to return, fill out the back of the receipt. In the Reason section, check off "runs", and ship it right back!
This has saved me hundreds of dollars over the years!

I thought this thread was going to be about $1 stockings.
I also use Melas, they last a few washes, but the price adds up if you wear them daily.

Another vote for Melas in honey. But where do you find them for only $4?? Which denier?

I find that http://www.nononsense.com/Pantyhose---View-All/support/Support-Control-Top.aspx# is thick enough for my standards and a great color (nude). I get a size larger than I officially fit on the chart so I don't have to stretch it much. They last a long time because they're made of thicker material. $10 for 3 pairs that last seems like a decent price to me. _________________ http://a-natural-birth.com

This sounds really wrong to me. I don't know what hanes policy is but pantyhose are supposed to get runs. If they came with a run, or got one from something ridiculous, maybe I could understand. But just to send back regardless of how many times you've worn it? Sounds like the kind of things that gives frum Jews a name of being cheap.
