I bought a tori 2 years ago. It's non-wearable now. (I didn't wear it often at all either). Any person I speak to with a tori has a bad experience. Stay away.

I just bought one a month ago, and it feels great and they were super nice. I sure hope it last s longer than 1-2 years. Sheitels are expensive and a big invesment!

I know someone with a JAP fall that she's had for over a year--it still looks great (and cost under $400)

I got my Tori a few months ago. I wear it to work. It's very comfortable. It looks very natural and I get a lot of compliments on it.

I had a horrible experience with a Jap sheitel. It turned to straw after about 15 months and oxidized to a very light color, not at all like the medium brown it was originally.

I bought a Tori sheitel about 2 years ago and it still looks great. It's my Shabbos sheitel so I don't wear it a lot so I really don't know how long it will last. I had a choice between super-silky straight shiny hair, or hair with more body and not so silky. It was a tradeoff. I went with the sheitel with body. I had one keratin treatment to make the hair softer and it looks great now. We'll see how long it lasts.

As one sheitelmacher told me: You get what you pay for. A $500 sheitel is not the same quality as one that costs much more. I paid about $1300 for my Tori and it was a pretty pleasant experience. What I loved most about Tori is that I wan't obligated to take the sheitel if I didn't like the cut. Yes, I did have to go back a few times to tweak the cut, but they were very nice about it and genuinely want satisfied customers. I just don't know about the quality of the hair, but so far I'm glad I bought it.

I have bought at Tori Wigs and so have many of my friends. We are all so happy with the quality, cut , styling, the way they stand behind their product, and their amazing customer service!!! Rivi and Tovi are truly the best in the industry - and extremely helpful and NICE ! I highly recommend Tori wigs....
(its such a shame the way some people here bad-mouth other businesses. I know of at least two posters who do that and I know for a fact they are nuts, and have been banned from several stores. They try to blackmail into getting free stuff and when that doesnt work they come here...so sad....)

Im not commenting on quality, but as far as costumer service, I had a problem with my sheitel and Tovi sent me a new one TWO YEARS later, free of charge, and it was a much nicer shaitel then I had to begin with.

I have a fall from them that looks amazing but was very knotty. I brought it back for a treatment and it helped a little. I then actually flipped my fall over and yanked out all the knotty hairs. I know it sounds crazy! but I was so fed up with it
anyway it looks amazing now! but I dont know if I would buy from them again...

It's interesting to see the back and forth here.

My mom has a Tori - and, yes, she has had very good experience in terms of customer service, but like others here, hers is about 2 years old and is pretty much unwearable. We'll see what happens.

Whoever I speak to had similar experiences with Tori.
They were thrilled with their purchases initially but are miserable after a year or two.
