Any new exciting apperizer ideas and recipes for yom tov?? please share..

I did one shabbos morning tuna wraps which basically is a leaf of lettuce rollled up with tuna inside. Really messy to make but looks cute held closed with a toothpick or even tied closed with a piece of string or grass.

Why do you need new and exciting appetizers? What is wrong with gefilte fish ?

On Shabbos my husband likes to have fish at all meals (basar v'dagim). On Y"T we don't have that...so I personally use the opportunity to try other non-fish appetizers. Sounds like a reasonable request to me!

Except that it isn't the din. The din is to have fish and meat and wine.

Shes not saying she MUST have because its halacha! She is just asking for ideas! If you dont have any why just criticize her for wanting some!

You can change during the week, when the diet isn't mandated by halachah.

choclate mousse, and even if there was a din on yt to have fish there are plenty interseting awys to serve it not just a slab of gefilte on a plate.

There is no din to eat gefilte fish every YT.
