I got 5 hours of seit for my child that will be in nursery.
September. Now I decided my child doesn't need it, can I call the agency to hold off?
This is after I sent back the consent form unfortunatly.

You should definitely call them and discuss but don't let them reduce the hours because if they do that it is vbery hard to get reapproved. I did that with my dd, they reduced it to 3 hours and when she turned 5 they were less willing to give her any.
As an aside why don't you let the therapist sit with the child in class instead of a pull-out situation, talk to the therapist and let her know you are not so concerned but since you were approved could she just keep an eye on your child for that hour, while in class. The teacher can tell the therapist the time that would be most beneficial to your child.

you can definitely cancel, but are you one hundred percent sure your child doesnt need it? The board of ed is so stingy these days that its unlikely they approved a child for services without reason. Maybe give it a try and see how your child does. Once you cancel, it will be hard if not impossible to get it back if you later see the need for it. You can instruct the childs therapist to be very hands off while yourself and the teacher evaluate whether your child needs it or not.
