My dd is 17 months and she has been waking up screaming and Crying or Very sad with gas pains. When she finally passes the gas it takes her awile to fall back asleep.
I don't know what the cause of this is.
She is allergic to dairy - so none of that is in her diet. She doesn't eat beans or cabbage.
She doesn't make a poopy till the morning.
Is it normal for kids to wake from this.
Please help it keeps us up at night.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this post. My son is almost seventeen months and just had the same thing tonight. My son was screaming tonight for 25 minutes in pain and I didn't know what to do with him. He doesn't eat any solids yet bec. he can't tolerate any food. He drinks a special medical formula and he still has stomach problems. You could give mylocon drops it can also help for older kids. I give my son Maalox but you should ask the doctor. Could it be maybe the baby is constipated it can make them very gassy

she poops at least once a day
she eats well all day, I can't pinpoint what it could be.
I'm gonna have to ask the dr.
refuah shelaima to your little one - he should only be well.
yeah, shoshy was screaming for about that much, nursing calms her, but then I have to wind her down and back to sleep - she's still in my bed.
it can be a tiny little release of gas that would have her screaming, crazy.
with prays we should get thru this!
at least we're not alone Smile

I don't nurse him anymore and he didn't even want his bottle. He is in a very uncomfortable sleep and he keeps crying. has your baby been doing this for a while or did it just start maybe there is something else she is allergic to
