Suggestions regarding working with my daughter on homework

Herone frustration is vocabulary!

English and Hebrew this is difficult for her. G-d willing I am getting her eyes tested tuesday, could be vision.

But how do I get her to memorize the words and spelling?

Any suggestions??
A. have tried flash cards
B. have tried saying while driving how do u spell XYZ

any other suggestions?

Have her write each word & as she is writing it to say the word.

any other suggestions?

What helped me memorize words, grammar rules and poems was making up little tunes/songs out of them!!

For spelling, this is my suggestion;

if she gets the list on monday - monday she rewrite the list 2 times each word

tuesday, you "test" her as if the teacher, pen on paper, check the "test" whatever words are wrong help her make hints how to spell it, she rewrite the words that were wrong 2 times each, repeat this process, every night til the test.

goal being each night she should get fewer words wrong,

night before the test, "test" the whole list again, let her make hints for whatever she got wrong and write them a few times, thats it.
