My friend just sent over a bowl. It is incredible! Refreshing and delicious - perfect for shabbos lunch dessert.
8 peaches cut into cubes
1 pint blueberries
1 -2 cups halved green grapes
dressing:
1/4 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
3 tbsp sugar
blend in fruit processor
mix the dressing into the fruit with a spoon.
There is a subtle hint of mint and it's not overly herbal or sweet. _________________ "But it's no use going back to yesterday, I was a different person then"- Alice in Wonderland

Do you blend all the fruit ingredients or just the dressing and pour it over the pieces of fruit?
The colors sound really pretty together, but if you blend it up, not so pretty.

| All ingredients are fresh. You can use nectarines or peaches.

I made this for shabbat.. I had a few frozen blueberries so I halved it, probably even quartered it. And used nana in place of the mint (Israel...)
This salad was amazing! Thank you so much! I will definitely make it again. It's absolutely delicious. The flavors really go wonderfully together. _________________ You shall possess the Land and you shall settle in it, for to you have I given the Land to possess it. Bamidbar 33:53

Good to know it works with frozen blueberries, I'll be sure to try this then.

| I wan to add (attention chocolate moose who had this question), the dressing does not come together like a paste, it just chops the the sugar. When you sprinkle it over the salad it mixes with the natural juices of the fruit and creates a dressing.

I'm so sorry CM!
I will make you some to compensate. Next time I make it I'll buy double ingredients and treat you.

Since I made such a small amount, I didn't use a processor, I just chopped up some leaves and added some sugar. It worked unbelievably well.

| I make pesto pretty often. but it's sort of chunky, until I add the oil. I think this salad sounds nice, but I'd just add some liquid to aid in the chopping. orange juice, maybe.
