I DO have the square hole in the top of the left seat when you're facing it that you are all talking about. Not sure what it is for. But I put my newborn in there and use the hole to check on him. |
It's there because there was supposed to be a one hand fold. No one is sure why they didn't change the hood when they decided to keep the old fold, but the thought is that they kept the hood that way so they can keep working on the one hand fold for next year's model. |
Thats unusual to think that they would make so many strollers with a hole even though there is no use for it. :-/ when does the next year model come out?

The information about the hood comes straight from company. I don't know when the next models come out, but the ABC trade show is either this week or next. That's usually when you find out about all the new models of everything baby and kid.
ETA: It's 9/23-26 in Louisville, Kentucky. Around then, all the baby stores put up pictures of new models. If you want to know in depth about strollers, stroller queen sells her spread about new strollers for about $5.

| most stroller liners fit into all strollers. the seats are not more narrow then other strollers.

Graphixmom (or anyone who has the mountain buggy duet)- bumping this thread cuz I am currently looking at this stroller, I'm expecting #2 I"h very soon. My 2 yr old dd is very small so I'm not worried about the size of the seat for her but I have no idea how big or small this baby is going to be, but you seem to be very confident that kids will fit in the seats until 4 or 5 right? (can't imagine needing it for a kid that much bigger). Also one other question, does the seat sit up straight to a 90 degree angle or does it always recline back a bit? Reason I'm asking is because I have the city mini single and doesn't sit up to a full 90 degree angle and my dd doesn't like it cuz she feels like she's missing out, she likes to sit up straight and have a clear view of the world . And on the babygizmo review, the seats looked slightly reclined. Thanx.

| they definitely are slightly reclined but it doesnt seem to bother my 2.5 yr old since he just sits up straight and holds onto the bar that comes with it. I cant think of one double that has a 90 degree angle seat. except the bugaboo donkey maybe. but that wasnt really an option for me.

Email them anyway. Their customer service is phenomenal, and even if they may not have them in stock online, they might have one lying around from demos or whatever. _________________ http://a-natural-birth.com
