I have baby winter clothing that I'd like to sell on Ebay and am wondering what month would be a good idea to do so?

Thanks

Really tiny infant sizes you should sell late fall/early winter (Oct/Nov/Dec). Larger sizes (12 months & up) you can begin selling in late August or September. These are always when I got my optimal prices (and I have over 4000 feedbacks, I've been doing this for a while!)

Thanks!

I'm curious to know why the difference according to sizing? Many people generally buy their tiny sizes while still pregnant, no?

Not necessarily. They may not know if boy/girl or how soon they'll outgrow. A lot of times people need baby clothes right away and will bid more for that season.
For older kids, they know to buy in advance and by winter, they'll be basically stocked up. I agree with the late August/September timetable.

If you are not an official ebay seller, its free to list up to 50 items per month. and its always free to relist. So you might as well list it now. If it doesnt sell you can always list it later for free

That's true if you are looking to make some money right away. If not, I still think it's better to wait a bit because the selling prices should be higher then.

Is it back to that now? Last I sold it was free for 99 cent listings unless there was a promotion....a year or so ago, the first X amount/month at any starting bid was free.
If it's back to the free listings no matter the starting bid, I have plenty of things to put up Smile

That sounds great! Is this ongoing, or only a promotion now. Do you have any idea for how long it'll be free?

This promotion has been going on for at least a year. I have no idea how long it will continue.

It hasn't. It used to be that way...some time in the past year, they changed it to unlimited amount of 99 cent listings are free. Perhaps they changed it back. I know they had periods of time (Xmas season, for example) when they had any starting bid free, but it wasn't the norm.
