What do you mean? Cook them until they are mush and then mix them?

| Yup, also add fried onions and spices. You should be able to find a recipe for it somewhere.

good wifey's turkey split peas roll ups:
cook the split peas with salt, white pepper and a lot of garlic powder. add some corn starch to the split peas after cooked, to keep it smooth but to avoid leaking and mess while working with it.
layer green and yellow split peas on the square cut turkey breast and roll it.
looks like a bulky blintz with open corners. looks very nice on the plate and is delicious.
use the smoked turkey breast, that adds some flavor too. If that's not available, sprinkle the regular turkey breast with basil and onion powder.
-----
I have also heard of split pea burgers and split pea dahl.

| Did anyone try the split-pea burgers? I can't imagine the peas get so quickly. It takes a few hours in soup.

The older they are the longer they take to cook, so if your soup is taking several hours you know your split peas are stale.

| Cooked split peas, lentils, dried beans, chick peas, are all good cold, in salads. They all go with cold cooked rice. Dress with olive oil and any kind of vinegar, or oil and bottled lemon juice.
