will my bourekas not look right if I dont have an egg to brush on top? if I want to put sesame seeds can I just brush with water??

U can brush it with duck sauce and top with sesame seeds. It gives it a nice color and a slightly sweet taste. I do it sometimes.

I dont brush them because I cant justify wasting an egg just for shinyness.Smile it just gives them an earthier look, as opposed to professional-bakery look.

I use melted butter... and then sprinkle some spices on top.

you can spray with cooking spray or use a little oil.

personally, I never brush with anything.
