I am wondering, if a woman waxes above her upper lip, will the hair grow back faster and thicker in the future, or will it not look any worse than it did before she started waxing in the first place? Also the eyebrows, do they grow back to the way they were, or do they get thicker every time they is waxed?

I always wondered about that. Waiting to see some responses.

The nature of hair is such that it grows back stronger and thicker unless you kill the root.

On the legs anyway, repeated waxing weakens the follicles and makes it grow back thinner and lighter. This is my direct experience. I haven't waxed my lip so I can't say, but I would guess that hair is the same anywhere.

I think it varies. I haven't really seen a difference in how it grows back.

Now I'm really concerned, because I asked my lady to do above my upper lip, but then she also went down the sides towards my lower lip. Hope I don't have to do this forever from now on. I only wanted it for a wedding, but wasn't thinking it would be a constant problem from now on.

I have been doing mine for years and I find it grows back the same. If anything it grows back slower now.

I had been waxing for years, and it was growing in pretty much the same. then I had weird hormonal things going on and it got really bad, hard to control. so I started electrolosys. its very painful, but in the end, I wont have to worry about it. I think its better.
