Is there such a thing as eyeglass insurance? Dd keeps losing her glasses, and I can't keep shelling out $200 to replace them.
Even if insurance is costly, it would pay for us due to her track record. _________________ Really Awesome Mom!

| I never heard of any but maybe if you buy it with an american express credit card? when I was a kid insurance used to pay for really ugly frames and somehow those never got lost- my parents would get us an expensive pair and the insurance one as backup.

We don't have the option to buy cheap glasses. Wish we could.
Dd has bifocals, so the lenses cost $100.
And she has a tiny face and only the size 9 month old infant glasses fit her, and those cost $100.
Sigh.
Baruch Hashem, at least we found frames that fit her! We went from store to store before we tried these.

| Have you tried the online places? My DD also loses her glasses all the time -- and also is supposed to use bifocals. We found a number of places that were REALLY cheap -- I think we got ours from goggles4u.com. You get them your prescription, and take measurements as they describe, and then they send the glasses, together with a little repair kit. It has been great!

But I will check out goggles4u.com to see if they sell infant sized glasses. And if they are cheap enough, we will take the gamble. Thank you!
