| Just ball the meat up and bake it with a can or jar of sauce. Takes about 45 minutes. Covered.

mine is kind of sweet, but you can leave the sweeteners out:
for every lb of meat,
add an egg and
1/2 cup bread crumbs.
mix together. roll into walnut sized balls and drop into a boiling pot of
tomato sauce, (I use hunts 29oz can,) cook at least 20 minutes.
my recipe calls for a can of jellied cranberry sauce and 2 tbsp brown sugar, but you can leave that out. if you do plain sauce, I would season the sauce- I would add pepper, garlic powder, parsley, maybe a bay leaf, basil... whatever you like!
edited to correct the breadcrumbs amount.

1 pound meat
quarter cup of flavored bread crumbs
one egg
mix together to create meat mixture.
if you want to cook it in tomato sauce, heat up the tomato sauce until its bubbling, and then drop the meatballs in one by one.
cook on low flame for about 20 min to a half hour.

Thanks all Have a good Shabbos! Last time I looked up plain meatballs in a FEW cookbooks I only found sweet & sour, batter meatballs, etc... For some reason I can cook anything under the sun but I have botched up meatballs SO many times! BH it came out delicious this time.
