Some of them seemed fake. I mean, how did they all get caught on video, and why did so many people happen to have cameras to start snapping pictures?
Fake or not, I gotta say, it sure had me crying. Ds kept giving me funny looks because he couldn't figure out why there were tears running down my cheeks.

I think we can safely assume that whoever made the mix sent the word out requesting clips from homecoming videos. This is a big country with a lot of people in the military. It's not that hard to collect lots of pix. Wouldn't you have your videocam at the ready if your loved one were coming home from the wars? Heck, these days people have the cameras rolling for trips to the mailbox.

These were supposed to be surprise homecomings. When the father was surprising kids, it's likely that the mother had the video camera ready. But when they surprised their wives, who was videoing it? And why are there a bunch of people in the schools snapping pictures? Why do they all have their cameras at hand in middle of their ball game?

I'd say they're real. Too bad we didn't have the cameras rolling when my brother did this to my mother and me!!! We only had a rough idea of when we would arrive, however my sister was in on the whole thing since she picked him up at the airport. He had a triple when he surprised his wife (popping out of the trunk - my sister asked her to get something for her), my mother (she walked into her house to find him sitting on her couch), and me (my mother, sister, and sil were coming over for birthday cake for one of my kids - my brother walked in last!)
GREAT SURPRISE!!!
HATS OFF TO ALL THE MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN!!!
