ISO rice dish

I would like to make a rice dish for shabbos lunch since I don't love the pasta dish I just made. Does anyone have a recipe that is fitting for guests, not sweet and does not have soy sauce in it? (I already have 2 dishes with soy sauce)

my 5th grader made this in school last week and we loved it.
2 cups rice uncooked
1 onion chopped
1 red pepper chopped
can corn
can peas and carrots.
paprika salt pepper garlic powder or granules.

sorte onion and pepper in oil.
Add rice, 4 cups water drained corn, drained peas and carrots, 1tbspn paprika, some S and P and garlic powder. Stir and Cover
cook as normal. You can use much more paprika if you'd like a darker color rice - I think I used about 2 tbspns.
comes out so nice!
