| The gnome is cute, but Failed Messiah is disgusting. Did any of you scroll down to the bottom of the article? FM will have to give his accounting to his Creator one of these days, and it won't be pretty.

| I would understand doing that if the lady wasn't dressed tsniusly, but it seemed like she was pretty covered up to me.

And it's a non jewish gnome at that. It's like a mini Santa Claus. It's a plot by secular bankers and goyishe advertisers to pollute our frum community with avodah zarah. Burn the billboards! Use then for Lag B'Omer firewood!

Lots of companies have separate advertisements for Chareidi, Chiloni and Arab neighborhoods. Nothing new, and IMO nothing offensive about it.

Yes.
I think it's weird, but it's not like any hareidi people were involved in actually making this policy. It was the advertiser's decision based on what they assume hareidim will want/ what they think will be effective.
Like in the other thread on women's pictures, it comes down to this chumra - money - chumra cycle, where a few people want a chumra, so newpapers/ads/buses/what have you adopt the chumra to make sure to keep their business, so now everyone is keeping the chumra, so now all the businesses are doing it as well... etc.
