Cute Mother's Day Gifts that don't cost your children much

I know many of you don't believe in Mother's Day, or feel that Mother's Day is every day. But for those of you who enjoy receiving gifts from the kids, or giving a gift to your mother, I would love to hear some interesting ideas of gifts you've given or received in the past that stick out in your mind as special.
I'll start with a gift the children gave me when they were younger that I really appreciated. It didn't cost them anything, but put me to tears, just for the originality of it!
They created a coupon book where each child printed up a coupon with something they wanted to do for me in honor of Mothers Day. My eldest had a coupon which said, I'll do the dishes three times without you asking. Another offered to babysit. Another said she'd clean the house. Another said he'd help one of the younger siblings with their homework...
Other ideas please.....

I get my mom her favorite flower, tulips. Each year I try to find the most exotic color available. I add a funny (comic style) card and add a nice poem. Tomorrow I'm also treating her out for lunch.

My mil cannot handle being pampered, spas, cosmetic, perfumes, forget it all. I always feel bad that I can never do more for her than get her some flowers that'll die in a couple of days.
