We are looking for a good, solid swing set. We have a very large yard but our budget is around $1300-$1500 including installation. We are looking at this one from Costco
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11629317&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|50126|4060|4062&N=4047212&Mo=13&pos=0&No=9&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=4062&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&ec=BC-EC11007-Cat4060&topnav=
I love the way it looks, etc, but are the Amish sets better? Stronger? Less expensive? Does anyone have any experience with Costco (Yardline) sets? It is made of treated yellow pine wood, which they are saying is 2 x stronger than cedar. But is cedar less susceptible to warping, etc?? Anyone have any advice??? TIA!

AFAIK, these sets have pretty good reviews. Google Costco wooden swingset reviews or something similar and read up on people's opinions.
I know people that have the amish sets and are happy with it. _________________ Live the life you want to live. Be the person you want to remember. Make decisions. Make mistakes. If you failed, at least you tried.

| I can't answer about the wooden sets because we ended up going with vinyl (more expensive than wood, never have to stain or sand or worry about maintaining; we went with it because we needed a modular set with a certain configuration (ladder for slide right along the slide in the front of the set and not at the back because we have an alley at the back of our yard and wanted to keep kids toward the front of the set)] but just wanted to say hatzlacha on the decision! We got our set two years ago and really love it. It was really money well spent. Nearly every night in the summer time after supper my husband will take the kids out and watch them on it - don't have to go to a park, even if you only have 10 minutes you can get playing time in. Besides for on Shabbos, playing with neighborhood kids, etc. They have a ton of fun, and it's nice to have a set in your own backyard.
