I wanted t try a different recipe this week and remember s/o posting wanting a recipe from the kosher palette. So I looked it up in my copy and made it. It was the best challah I ever made.
I came on here to post on that thread, only to find that the recipe posted then was from kosher by design. So I decided to start a new thread as the challah was really really good.

I make it all the time. And I've even modified it with whole wheat.

This was my favorite recipe for regular flour. I now bake spelt challas, but would still use this if I used wheat.

I used dry yeast (1 1/3 oz-btw 9 & 10 tsp)and mixed it in my magic mill. |
