My 3 1/2 Year old daughter is in Nursery this year she started in a new school and is really happy. She comes home all happy but after she comes home 20 minutes later she starts acting crazy anything I say she throws her self on the floor kicks and screams etc.. Then after and hour to an hour and a half later she is totally a different child playing with her toys and acting all cute. Does anyone know what this can be? I did speak to her teacher and she said she is a happy child in school and gets along with all the girls.

sometimes children behave really well in school, even if it might be very hard on them, then they need to let it out later when they come home.
maybe when she comes home from school play with her active games, like running, jumping, ball... to let her get out some energy that she was suppressing in school.

I had the same thing with my dd when she was 3 years old, it drove me bananas... but it got better with time.

hatzlacha.

Hey, I had the exact same thing now! My son started cheder. He's really happy, came home w a huge smile every day. However, a half hour later he would scream, yell, etc. I started serving supper and putting him to sleep earlier. Works wonders. Now he's out at 7pm. I think the change is hard for them, even if they love it, it's alot of pressure for them.
I wish I would see this post earlier.... it would make me feel better.
