Mazali shaitels

I heard there were some issues with the older mazalis... anyone have a mazali from their new and revised line? like in the last year or 2? opinions please?

do you mean mazali wigs from fortune wigs? if so I have 2 full wigs and a fall and absolutely love them! if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!

I got married in august 2009, I think I bought them in june/july 2009. they are from the new mazali line.

I also have a mazali, like from two years ago and I love it. Just bought a new mazali!

Did you end up getting a Mazelli? I am thinking of getting one this Sunday...how long do they last for?

to those with the newer mazalis, how do you think the hair in it is different than european-hair shaitels? like is it straighter, coarser, does it need to be washed more often, does it not hold a set well, is it less shiny, etc....

I want it to have body.,.the only ones I have seen were pretty straight! what are your experiences with it?

I have heard that they tend to be very straight...

I got a mazali right before rosh hashana at a sale. I paid 350 for 14" (was originally 900).
I wear it about 2 - 3 times a week. I last washed it 3 months ago and it recently starting to look like it needs a wash and is notting more often (not horrible but just notting). But when it is clean it does not knot and the hair looks very nice. It is very straight but the bangs hold a bounce and it was cut very top heavy and it holds the height well. Even unwashed I still get compliments and questions regarding the brand. It is a coarser hair which I think holds the style better, when I had it cut the lady commented that the hair felt like good hair. When looking at the sheitel I don't think it looks as coarse as it feels.
At the sale they said they were getting rid of all the old sheitels because they were bringing in a whole new line of Mazalis with more body.
I am very happy with it but I don't really expect it to last more then 2 years (not because of my experience - mine is 6 months old and looks great, but that is what I was told to expect from a cheaper wig)
