I was in a Dept store in N.y .

the sales lady told me the dress I liked was going to go on sale
the next day.

she said if I pay for the dress today and picked it up the next day-

I can buy it on the spot for the sale price.,

I saved over 50 Bucks! Wink

yes, I hear that sometimes. macy's will give it to you late the previous day, as I recall.

Lots of dept. stores will do price adjustments if the item you bought goes on sale within 10 days after you bought it. I had that with a leather jacket I bought, 5 days later it went on sale, so I took the receipt back to Macy's and got the additional savings!

Yes, most stores will give you a price adjustment if the item goes for sale within a week or two of when you bought it. Many times it will say the time span on the back of the receipt. I think GAP gives you a week to bring it back for a price adjustment.

But this is even better because usually by a sale things sell much quicker, here since the sale hasn't yet started you still get to choose from a big variety and get it at the sale price.
