I'm looking for a good place to go for manicures. Please include:
- address/location
- price for a regular manicure (and pedicure)
- about how long it lasts

Thanks!

don't know the name- it's on Nostrand, off the corner of J, closer to higher number side, next to Ephraim's Barber shop (there's another one on the OTHER side, closer to lower numbers, next to Wolf's Grocery).
I've only gotten manicures there, but it's 7-8 dollars. lasts about a week.

(slightly OT- I feel old, but I remember paying 5 bucks when I was single! off of J and 15?)

Happy Nails?

Also if people can tell me specifically who they use. Thanks again!

That sounds right. I wouldn't be of use to you for specific people. I know people do request one lady (she's older) but to tell you the truth, I'm not a big manicure person and I don't see how one person is so much better than another.
I just bought a Revlon nail polish and do it myself and am getting compliments. steady hands! though I don't have the nice cuticles... (FYI it's a light grey/blue/purple called "cloud" Smile )

I go to Gorgeous nails on Ave I and McDonald Ave. They do a great job. I use whoever is available because I like them all. It usually lasts about 5 days depending on the kind of work I do around the house. They are $7.35 for a manicure not too sure about a pedicure.
