has anyone ever tried the part where you put conditioner on the wig then seal the wig in a ziplock bag tight and put it in the microwave for 1 minutes???]

I've seen some "how to wash a wig" videos, and even had a professional show me how to do it. But the truth is, I have been married for four years, and I am afraid to wash my sheital.
I wonder if I will ever be brave enough to do it.
I don't think I will involve any kitchen appliances though.
When I wash my sheitel it does not take that long and is not as complicated. It's more like givng the sheitel a shower, whereas this is giving it a bath.

The thing is, I was never really good at drying and styling my own hair, so I am afraid of doing working on something that won't grow back. (I just never had the skill.) I prefer to send it to the neighbour. (I suppose in a pinch, if there was no one else, I would wash it myself and let it dry by itself on the stand.
