Just saw this I'm so disturbed by this. How can people be so low and lie like that.

We dont knwo the whole story. This could be some massive editing. There was no chance for the plaintiffs to even speak.

The wig *did* look horribly synthetic.

The couple didnt look like the sharpest ppl in the world. And they were ill prepared.

...and btw, whoever appears on this show gets about $2K for appearing. So she did get her money to get a new shaitel.

But this clip is a horrible chilul haShem, it's awful.

What possessed these people to go to a televised proceeding? They couldn't have tried this scam with a regular arbitrator?

Did they lie? I'm not so sure. She looked SO shocked but it wasn't a "OMG she caught on to us" shock. It looked to me more as "HUH????"
Besides, the launderer confirmed that she washed the wig... You're gonna tell me this couple thought of a whole scheme to sue some laundry company for $3,000? On TV no less?

Passed along a message to a friend who knows the couple. Just wanted to say that they're an embarrassment, and that all the sheitel-wearing in the world won't make them decent human beings.

I just watched it and have to say that I think they were indeed telling the truth. I agree that they had that 'huh' look to them. And either way, the cleaners is guilty of killing the thing.

As DUMB as this thing was, let's try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think the person who washed the wig in a washing machine probably left her brain in bed that day.

I still stand by saying there is more to this story and the judge came out of left field with that 'gotcha', they looked very shocked and confused.

Lying in court is perjury.

Perjury is wrong.

It's one of the seven noahide laws.

It's wrong for every person on the planet.

Sure the dry cleaners ruined her sheitel.

A cheap synthetic sheitel.

They could have sued for the amount it actually cost.

Instead they tried to pass it off as a different sheitel.

They lied under oath.

It's not okay to do that.

I really dont think they were lying.

the judge didnt even give them a chance to speak. and her research wasnt thorough at all.

why do you always assume the worst about pple without knowing the story behind it?
