There is a "Yerushalayim", very similar to Abie Rottenberg's, but not exactly. The tune is the theme to "Terms of Endearment" Does anyone know the lyrics?

I know, but I thought the tune might jog someone's memory! I sure didn't remember the theme song to Terms of Endearment.

It;s the same lyrics as Abie Rottenbergs, someone just put it to terms of endearment because it goes really well.

Momaleh, the lyrics are almost the same, but not exactly.
Abie Rottenberg's starts "come let us sing....", the "Terms of Endearment" one starts "How can I....." But I don't remember any more than that!

Maybe the yerushalayim song only has part of the Abie Rottenberg? Some of the lyrics are definitely exactly the same.

I know the original lyrics - that A Taste of Music concert came out when I was in seminary. I'll try to remember to post a little later - if not, please PM me or bump the thread.

I remember when that song came out. I think it was written by Mrs. Fogel.

Now how do I say this, um, I think the word coming was changed to going out of sensitivity to the way words are used today.

Shabbat, there are slight differences.
Also, It's Time To Say Good Shabbos is on Journeys 1.
Yerushalayim is on Journeys 3.
I'm pretty sure.
