| I'm looking for a part-time playgroup for 3-year-olds in Brooklyn for my daughter for next year. All the ones I've found are 9-2 mon-fri; are there any out there that are fewer hours? TIA

Are you in boro park?
there is a playgroup on 56th street and 18th avenue where you pay by the hour she is open from 9-5 and you bring the kid in any time

| I'm in Flatbush. I'm looking for something with a little more structure than just dropping your kid off and paying by the hour -- if I did that, I'd never drop her off, I'd be too busy counting my money. I want something preferably like 9 to 1 or something like that.

| are you looking for a playgroup (2 yr olds) or a nursery (3 yr olds) ? if youre looking for playgroup: Leah Churba on Ave N is EXCELLENT and her hours are 10 to 2. she fills up quickly though. Pm me for more info. I think Sophia Dabbah has the same hours, 10 to 2, and she is between Ave O and P, and she is also excellent. her # is 376-2565. Both of these groups are run by Syrian women, and a lot of the kids (tho certainly not all) are Syrian. Even if you are not Syrian (I am not syrian or sefardic) you will love these groups.

Morah Silka is amazing! E 18 & Ave I. 9:30-1:30, 2 or 3 days a week.

She generally has 3 year olds, though she sometimes has younger ones - depending on the overall maturity level of the group, and if there aren't enough older kids. PM me if you want more info.
