I'm looking for ideas of solids to feed my baby.
Now I give her one meal a day of baby cereal mixed with a bit of fruit or veggie.
I want to start with another meal.
How many solid meals a day does your baby eat and what do you feed him/her?

I bf and give 2-3 meals a day. My baby is not into baby food, so I give her yoghurt cheese bread, cold cucumbers for teething, baked potatoes, pretzels.
When my toddler was a baby he had breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.
If you are interested in details I can post more after shabbes

I give my daughter 3 meals a day. In the morning she will still eat baby food, so I give her oatmeal or rice cereal with a jar of fruit. For lunch I give her yobaby yogurt with maybe a banana or vegetable soup and for dinner she usually eats what we eat. Like the other night I gave her noodles with cheese. Other times I gave her chicken, chicken soup, soft vegetables. I am also going to start to give her rice cakes. But it all depends on if your baby can deal with pieces and textures in their mouth.

cheerios, crackers and gerber graduates as snacks. I also give her a version of whatever we are eating for dinner. if we are having pasta, I give her some, but I leave it plain. same w/ bits of chicken soft vegis from soup. Ive given her hard boiled egg yolks but you have to be careful for allergies (they say whites are more problematic.) peices of tortilla, or potato bread which has no egg.... ground beef... etc. depends on the baby...

oh I also make her oatmeal "cookies" out of her cereal. I can give you recipe- they are pretty healthy and its fun if you have time to bake your baby something special.
