at what age is it okay to give your baby dairy products (besides milk): yogurt, cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese, etc.?

So long as the products are full-fat and pasturised, I would say that it's perfectly okay to give them whenever you feel your baby is ready.
How old is s/he?

thank you!

he's 11 months old ka"h, and he's been begging me to let him in the fridge for once so he can get what he likes. Smile
he would eat a whole steak if I gave it to him.

at 11 months youre totally in the safe zone. besides for regular whole milk which is not okay to give yet, cheese, yogurt etc are fine.

actually, plain unsweetened yogurt is a great food for a young baby. I would even put it in its own category, above cheese and the rest. the cultures in it help the baby digest it better than lots of other foods, and they promote the growth of healthy bacteria. My DD loved it at 10 mos and still eats it every day!

My kids did have whole milk at that age. I was told by the doctor that it was okey.
