Healthy breakfast cookies
from another site
1 cup flour, any kind
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup coconut or crushed cornflakes
1 cup oats
1/2 cup applesauce or marg, or half of each
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
splash of vanilla
chocolate chips, craisins, etc., to taste
Mix ingredients & drop onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes.

I made them and its pretty good. I put in lots of choc chips. I also added two eggs. It did not seem right wo eggs _________________ me

| I made them but added an egg (I was distracted and thought I wrote it down wrong) I also substituted baking powder for baking soda (again same distraction) but it was very nice.

| I made them again, with only applesauce this time, and wondered if I had to use something else instead of water, so they wouldn't be hamotzie. anyone ?

| Sorry for being ignorant, but why would water make them hamotzie? Don't most cookies and cakes have flour and water? I never thought that made it hamotzie...now I'm confused.
