As I wipe away the curl
Of my fresh faced little girl,
I think of those faces
That haunt me in my dreams.

The faces of those little ones
Who never said goodbye
They never had a voice,
They were left to die.

Looking thru the pictures
That are tattered, in black and white,
Those piercing eyes could haunt you
Mixture of pride, and some fright.

How many little children
Were tortured, beaten, killed?
All thru our history,
Is the quota not yet filled?

How can we let another fast day
Go on without a tear
Why do we not feel the pain
Of those mothers from yesteryear?

Mothers who had to eat their young
Mothers who watched them die
Mothers who gave up their lives
While their children stood and cried.

Eichah yashva badad, Hashem please hear our cries.
We are mothers, we are your children,
Enough of the hard times.

The tragedies of these days,
keep coming at a faster pace.
Every time we turn around,
A disaster has taken place.

I know I�m not alone, we all want moshiach now,
And if you�re not sure how it can be done,
I will tell you how.

Lashon Hara, Sinas Chinam, Anger and Tznius
Jealousy, Onaas Devarim, Greed , and Rechilus.

Try, we must try
To better ourselves in these ways
And Hashem should bring moshiach,
Speedily IN OUR DAYS!!!

Brilliant, I loved it, but mothers eating their young was a little over the edge I think, and just made me nauseaus and lessened the Tshuva mood.

I am so happy u all liked it, I wrote it really fast and furiously, and didn't think it would come out good. But when I re-read it, it made an impact on me, and wanted to share it with you all. Thanks for the compliments!

there are no words to describe what you wrote. Just thinking about all the Aunts, Uncles and grandparents that I never knew, that my grandfather lost makes me cry on T'Shabaav, I am named after one of them and I will never change my name. So many ppl. ask me if I ever used the nickname for my name and my reply is no I am named after someone who died during the holocaust she never changed hers, I will never change mine.
