How "in" are the silly bandz in your community? What do you think of them?

Def. like that they're cheap, but I don't let my daughter wear them out of the house. I think they look silly, especially when they're stacked up their wrist...

My kids love them! I think they're pretty silly, hence the name, but it's better than other fads. They give them out as prizes in their camps so I never buy them. I just have one rule with them...if they leave them around the house and don't put them away, then into the garbage they go!

They are "in" here too. I actually found some online that are called biblical bandz and they are Jewish based.

There is a reason why they are called "silly bands". They're dumb. all stores sell them here.

Last wk my daughter (6 yo) asked for some because "everybody" at camp had them.
So I told her I will buy her some for 3 days of good behavior in a row. She got her first package this way.
Now I told her that I will buy her one package every week (until she decides she's had enough) if she behaves well (without one single incident) 4 days out of 7 every week. She gets a sticker too for one whole day of exemplary behavior, that's how we keep track.

Found these online. They seem like a great deal and you can get 2 for the one shipping cost.

rb you could check out walgreens, toys r us even walmart sells them for a dollar. I think they're a great tool for my socially challenged son, he likes to exchange his with friends... and they could be afforded by anyone!

Don't waste your $ on them they are dangerous, they make marks on the skin, anyone who lets their child get them is making a big mistake, it stops circulation of the blood. I don't know why there hasn't been any law suit yet.

My daughter got a bunch from someone and then lost them. I explained to her what it does to the skin and she doesn't want to wear them.

Don't let your kids wear them they are not safe.
