If one gets a degree in accounting, can they work as a book keeper?

Of course! Depending on the course they may even be overqualified (if it focuses on taxes and financial statement presentation versus just journal entries and account balancing and reconciliations).

that I dont know .. you would have to find out if they are a real accredited place. (dunno how to do that)
if they are then sure ppl should be able to accept that...(I would think...)

if you dont have an accting degree yet there are also other training you can have for a bookkeeping job. (vocational or a course specific for training a bookkeeper.)

I realize that. I am just wondering what kind of job I could get from just taking this course from this (non accredited - it says so som place on their site) place? is it worth it?
